Batman and Robyn might seem a strange name for the twin calves born to our black Highland cow, Inverie but it really does suit this dynamic duo. They are instantly recognised as the red and black calves that are always together. Inverie had twins the previous year and we were shocked when she scanned to have twins again in 2024.
With Batman and Robyn being a bull and heifer, and having shared a blood supply in the womb, there is a 90 % chance that Robyn will be a freemartin. This means she could be infertile and never be able to have a calf.
Sponsoring her means you will get updates on her progress. Who knows, there’s still a 10% chance she will be able to have babies when she grows up.
Sponsorship starts from the date of registration and lasts for one year.
